"लालबाग फ्रेंड सर्कल चॅरिटेबल ट्रस्ट "मुळात नावातच सगळं दडलेल आहे "अखंड हिंदुस्थानचे श्रद्धास्थान लालबाग येथे मित्रांचा एकत्र येऊन तयार झालेला परिवार". या संस्थेची स्थापना २०१० साली सगळ्यां मित्र मंडळींना एकत्र घेऊन समाज कार्य करण्यासाठी झाली. लालबाग फ्रेंड सर्कल चॅरिटेबल ट्रस्ट- नाते मैत्री पलीकडचे इथे फक्त माणसं नाही नाती जोडली जातात. सर्कल म्हणजे वर्तुळ आणि वर्तुळाला कोणतीही बाजू नसते एक टोक दुसऱ्या टोकाला वर्तुळाकार जोडलेले असते तसेच या संस्थेचा प्रत्येक सभासद एकमेकांशी जोडलेला आहे म्हणून इथे कोणी कोणाचा डावा उजवा नाही.

आज संस्थेशी निगडित असलेल्या प्रत्येक सभासदाचे त्याच्या वयक्तिक जीवनात आणि समाजिक क्षेत्रात वेगळे असे स्थान जरी असले तरीही ही संस्था जे काही उपक्रम राबवते त्यात सगळ्यांचाच मोलाचा आणि समान वाटा असतो.

ही संस्था लालबाग फ्रेंड् सर्कल चॅरिटेबल ट्रस्ट मार्फत के ई म हॉस्पिटल मुंबई समोर "लालबाग फ्रेंड् सर्कल चॅरिटेबल ट्रस्ट डायग्नोस्टिक सेंटर" चालवत आहे जिथे सर्व सामान्यांनसाठी अत्यंत माफक दरात सगळ्या प्रकारच्या वैद्यकीय चाचण्या केल्या जातात. विशेष म्हणजे लालबाग फ्रेंड् सर्कल चॅरिटेबल ट्रस्ट आपल्या संस्थेच्या सभासदांच्या सर्व प्रकारच्या वैद्यकीय चाचण्या या सेंटर मध्ये अगदी मोफत करून देते.

तसेच ही संस्था लालबाग फ्रेंड् सर्कल चॅरिटेबल ट्रस्ट मार्फत रूग्णांना रुग्णालयात किंवा वैद्यकीय सुविधा केंद्रात ने-आण करण्यासाठी अत्यंत अल्प दरात रुग्णवाहीका सेवा उपलब्ध करून देते.

फेब्रुवारी २०२४ मध्ये संस्थेचे एक जुने सभासद यांच्या ३ वर्षाच्या चिमुकल्याला पॅरॅलिसिस या आजाराने ग्रासले आणि योग्य उपचारासाठी जि.रायगड येथून मुंबईतील वाडिया हॉस्पिटल येथे आणण्यात आले. त्या चिमुकल्याला या आजारातून मुक्त करण्यासाठी ऑक्युपेशनल थेरपीची गरज होती आणि त्यासाठी एक मोठी रक्कम जमा करायची होती. अचानक आलेल्या या मेडिकल इमर्जन्सी मध्ये काय करावे हे त्या सभासदाला आणि त्याच्या परिवाराला कळेनासे झाले होते पण ही गोष्ट जेव्हा संस्थेच्या निदर्शनास आली क्षणाचा ही विलंब न करता संस्थेने "एक हात मदतीचा.." ही छोटीशी मोहीम राबवली आणि एक मोठी रक्कम जमा करून बाळाच्या उपचारासाठी त्याच्या परिवाराला सुपूर्द केली. आज त्या मुलाच्या तब्येतीत चांगली सुधारणा झाली आहे आणि तो सुखरूप आणि आनंदी आयुष्य जगत आहे.

कोरोना सारखं संकट निर्माण झालं होतं आणि अक्ख जग थांबलं होतं परंतु या संस्थेचे काही सभासद के ई म आणि टाटा हॉस्पिटल बाहेर गरजवंताना तयार जेवणाचे पॅकेट्स वाटत होते. रुग्णांची त्यांच्या नातेवाईकांन ची गैरसोय होऊ नये म्हणून संस्थेची रुग्णवाहीका अखंडित चालवत होते. स्वतःची आणि स्वतःच्या परिवाराची काळजी घेऊन निस्वार्थी भावनेने त्यांनी जे उल्लेखनीय कार्य केले त्या सभासदांचं जितकं कौतुक करू कमीच आहे.

हे आणि असे अनेक सामाजिक उपक्रम ही संस्था गेले कित्येक वर्ष राबवत आहे.

वर्षाच्या सुरवातीला जानेवारी महिन्यात ही संस्था लालबाग-शिर्डी-लालबाग भव्य सायकल यात्रा आयोजित करते. इच्छुक सायकल स्वाराला या यात्रे साठी फक्त आपले नाव नोंदवावे लागते आणि स्वतःची सायकल आणावी लागते. या सायकल यात्रेत सामील झालेल्या प्रत्येक सायकल स्वाराचा प्रवासी विमा, राहण्याचा, जेवणाचा, जर्सी आणि ट्रॅक पँट चा पूर्ण खर्च संस्था स्वतःहा करतेच पण या संपूर्ण प्रवासा दरम्यान सर्वांनची विशेष काळजी सुद्धा घेतली जाते. यात्रा प्रमुखांच्या मार्गदर्शना खाली गेली कित्येक वर्ष ही लालबाग-शिर्डी-लालबाग भव्य सायकल यात्रा कुठल्याही प्रकारचे गालबोट न लागता पार पडत आहे.

"Lalbaug Friend Circle Charitable Trust" basically says it all in the name itself, "A family of friends gathered together at Lalbaug, the place of worship of Akhand Hindustan". This organization was established in 2010 to bring all friends together and do social work. Lalbaug Friend Circle Charitable Trust - Beyond Friendship, here, not just people are connected, but relationships are also created. A circle is a circle and a circle has no sides. One end is connected to the other end in a circular manner. Similarly, every member of this organization is connected to each other, so there is no one's left or right here.

Even though each member associated with the organization today has a different place in their personal lives and social spheres, everyone has a valuable and equal share in the activities this organization carries out.

This organization is running "Lalbaug Friend Circle Charitable Trust Diagnostic Center" opposite KEM Hospital Mumbai through Lalbaug Friend Circle Charitable Trust where all kinds of medical tests are conducted for the general public at very reasonable prices. Interestingly, the Lalbaug Friends Circle Charitable Trust provides all types of medical tests to its members at this center completely free of charge.

This organization also provides ambulance services at very low rates to transport patients to hospitals or medical facilities through the Lalbaug Friends Circle Charitable Trust.

In February 2024, the 3-year-old child of an old member of the organization suffered from paralysis and was brought from Raigad district to Wadia Hospital in Mumbai for proper treatment. The little child needed occupational therapy to get rid of this disease, and a large sum of money had to be raised for that. The member and his family were at a loss as to what to do in this sudden medical emergency, but when the organization came to the attention of the organization, without a moment's delay, the organization "lent a helping hand." This small campaign was carried out and a large amount of money was collected and handed over to the baby's family for his treatment. Today, the boy's health has improved significantly and he is living a happy and healthy life.

There was a crisis like Corona and the entire world had come to a standstill, but some members of this organization were distributing ready-made food packets to the needy outside KEM and Tata Hospitals. The organization's ambulances were operating continuously to avoid inconvenience to patients and their relatives. There is little that can be said to praise the members for the remarkable work they have done with a selfless spirit, taking care of themselves and their families.

This organization has been implementing these and many other social initiatives for the past several years.

At the beginning of the year, in the month of January, this organization organizes a grand cycle trip from Lalbaug-Shirdi-Lalbaug. Interested cyclists only need to register for this trip and bring their own bicycle. The organization not only covers the entire cost of travel insurance, accommodation, meals, jerseys, and track pants for each cyclist participating in this cycle tour, but also takes special care of everyone during the entire journey. Under the guidance of the Yatra Chief, the grand Lalbaug-Shirdi-Lalbaug cycle yatra has been going on without any hitches for the past several years.
